This kit makes two Climax log cars. Climax log cars consist of two steel end frames connected by a single wooden center beam, so that the length of the car could be adjusted by using different length beams.

This is a finely detailed wood and metal kit. The kit is undecorated and does not include couplers or trucks (available separately). The truck-mounted coupler pockets are designed to accept Kadee #5 couplers.
